Abstract

Organizational culture is a crucial factor influencing employee behavior, motivation, and commitment. In the context of start-ups, organizational culture tends to be dynamic, collaborative, and innovation-oriented. This study aims to analyze the influence of start-up organizational culture on employee commitment by examining the integration of human resource management (HRM) as a mediating variable. The research method used a quantitative approach with a survey of 120 respondents from technology start-up employees in Jakarta and Bandung. The results of the regression analysis indicate that organizational culture has a significant positive effect on employee commitment (p < 0.05), and the role of HRM strengthens this relationship. These findings suggest that adaptive and participatory HRM can strengthen employees' sense of belonging, loyalty, and emotional attachment to the organization.
